What we do
In the UK we are lucky that we have the best fire services in the world, with some of the bravest and well-trained firefighters using the latest equipment to keep us safe at night.
However, some other countries are not so fortunate, fire and Road Traffic Collisions still remain one of the biggest killers of life in some of the world’s poorest regions, where they have no access to even basic fire and rescue equipment. We exist to save lives in these places.
We were set up by British firefighters who wanted to share their experience with those parts of the world that suffer from fire and emergency situations, and don’t have the equipment or training to save lives.
Using that famous saying of ‘give a man a fish, feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime’, we recondition old fire engines to full working order and send them to the places on the planet that need them most. We also send out training crews to ensure that the people who will be using the equipment are fully trained and ready to do their job – save lives.
